2026 Fiesta Medal Chosen to Represent SISD Education Foundation!

For the first time in its history, the Education Foundation opened its Fiesta Medal design to Southside staff. The SISD staff were invited to participate for a chance to have their artwork featured as this year’s official Southside ISD Education Foundation Fiesta Medal. During the fall semester, all staff were given the opportunity to submit an original design that showcased their artistic talent while celebrating Southside ISD. (San Antonio, TX) - The Southside community gathered on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. for an evening of fun and support of Southside ISD. Hosted by the Southside ISD Education Foundation, the annual Bingo for Bags event once again was a major success. The fourth ever, Bingo for Bags is a two-hour, open-to-the-public fundraiser where families and community members come together to play bingo for the chance to win designer handbags. Prizes included popular brands such as Coach and Kate Spade, with a Louis Vuitton bag awarded as the raffle grand prize.
